This Saturday (10/13/2007) we’ll be releasing the talked about Bloc28 X New Era custom hats. Three respective / legendary street-artists (graf writers) were called in to add their own twist on Disney’s most recognizable character, Mickey Mouse.

free agent, free of any recording contract with any label. I have
been under recording contracts for 18 years and have watched the
business radically mutate from one thing to something inherently very
different and it gives me great pleasure to be able to finally have a
direct relationship with the audience as I see fit and appropriate.

Hot damn!

I’m not sure what to write about this game. Some times it’s fun, but others it is so aggravating I just want to stab a pen at whatever asshole fantasy creature is talking down to me for that level. It seems like they expect you to be able to calculate the trajectory of a ball after it has bounced off of 5+ surfaces, which is absolute bullshit. When you ignore the “helpful tips” and realize that the game is 50% bullshit, it gets a tad more bearable.

They need a cheat option where you can see the calculated path in full before you shoot. That was my favorite part about the really old Pool games for old windows (pre 95) machines; being able to turn on the aim cheat and make totally absurd amazing shots.

I can totally see some people getting into this game, and getting amazingly good. If there is a greater waste of a human life, please feel free to provide an example, because I sure as hell can’t think of one.

This comic is definitely growing on me.

Heres a couple examples that I liked (Link). You can expect to pay $200+ for originals, but prints (more than enough) are very cheap. I wish I had some spare cash to order a few of these; I’ll throw them on my ever-growing wish list.

You can even find ones for classic American films, they seem to do their own instead of borrowing Hollywood’s (Link):

(3:10 to Yuma 1961)

IASiP is a breath of fresh air in today’s television shitfest. In an age where ratings are pushing shows further and further towards 60 minute B movies, its a pleasure to have a 20 minute show so random and meaningless its a wonder how it even holds together. The characters are all likable (even the surprising later addition of Danny DeVito) because they are implausibly led through extreme situation after situation that compares only to South Park or Family Guy. For example, one day they find a dumpster baby and end up trying to tan it to look Latino, and seemingly one day later they are skirting the law to try and make quick cash by dressing their sister up as a whore and wooing politicians. An unashamed use of swearing, hallucinogenic drugs, binge drinking and racism seem to be the glue for this mess, and it works wonderfully.

It’s a show where the characters always lose in the end, but the hilarity to the observer makes it always worth it.

My favorite role in the show is “Dee” played by Kaitlin Olson; the fact that she can act such a fake role so well is just amazing, and her deadpan attitude is, for me, the greatest source of laughs in the show.

Without a doubt the coolest shoes I have ever seen: KR/JBC black leather sneakers ($195USD)

And the coolest sweatshirt I’ve ever seen. It’s probably not out yet (the image was nabbed off the imageserver), and there’s no information given (if it’s even going to come out), but the artist is obviously Thomas Han and the price is probably going to be like $175USD. God damn it.

Fortunately while I roll around in poverty for a while there are some cheap alternatives for nifty clothes. This Octopus T-Shirt is only $15 and I think it’s pretty rad. Plus you know you’re supporting some artist in his basement which is always a warm feeling.

Holy shit, does it get any cooler than this? A nice wide wall will set you back around $700USD, but fuck if I won’t have one of these wherever I’m living some day.

I guess in the mean time I can settle for a more reasonably priced NYC Poster. Well, fuck, who am I kidding, I can’t afford one of those either.

This Kenzo Minami is pretty tight too, but I have a feeling it would just drive me crazy after a few months!
